This is not really a recipe but more of an idea. But honestly, these are my favorite. When I’m stuck in a rut with meals, or it’s one of those super busy days, it’s nice to have a little inspiration even if it’s just to put almond butter on toast. Or some pasta sauce with spaghetti and fresh basil. Or yogurt with mangoes and granola – easy combinations that are somehow easily forgotten.
This meal is an easy breakfast/snack idea using local goodies from the farmer’s market: bread and strawberries and healthy organic honey and almond butter from my favorite Thrive Market. It’s fun to stretch your imagination and create something with what’s on hand. That’s how I got into cooking in the first place. I hope this simple idea sparks some inspiration for you.
On a more personal note, it’s almost the middle of summer in the blink of an eye! In about two weeks, I’m headed off to Alaska for another cruise vacation with my husband. Let me know if you have any travel tips?
Hope you are all well and enjoying your summer–let me know what you’re up to in the comments below. (Seriously, I’d really love to hear from you.) And if you’d like, follow along on my travels / life on Instagram – I love to share life and hear from you over there too!
