You are never too old for theme parks, are you? So why not head to the original Disneyland Park or Universal Studios for a day full of fun and adventure. Walt Disney designed Disneyland to be one of the happiest places in the world, and it really is. So whether you are taking a trip with your family, or enjoying time as a couple or with friends, Disneyland could still be on the cards.
Universal Studios Hollywood on the other hand is the only authentic, working movie studio and theme park in the world. It’s as much a can’t-miss for visitors as it is a popular weekend attraction for L.A. locals. From the world famous Studio Tour to thrilling rides and family friendly attractions, the magic of movie-making is made real for everyone who comes to experience it. You’ve got to experience it!
Be A Culture Vulture
Finally, while in LA you can still enjoy culture and find that there are many things you can do with your time here. Museums filled with film memorabilia, studio tours talking and discussing the old days of TV and Film. Do check out the Los Angeles County Museum of Art or LACMA as it known by the locals. You may recognize the urban lights exhibit located directly outside the museum, but the rest of the museum is worth the $15 entry fee. There is also the botanical gardens that you can spend the whole day exploring. There really is so much you can see and do while in LA that it can in effect take up your whole time.
